GCG Group Celebrates International Women’s Day

March 8th is a day of beauty. No matter where you are in the world, the most frigid parts of winter have passed, and the sweltering summer sun has yet to arrive. Perhaps it is fitting that this also marks the official celebration of International Women’s Day.
Every year, every one of our office locations throughout the Caribbean and Latin America set aside time to celebrate our female team members. Our goal is to reinforce how strong and unique they all are, and honor the fact that our company would not be as successful as it is today without their commitment and dedication.
Each location celebrates in their own way. For example, GCG Events and GCG Catering in Antigua gave a shout out across social media, sharing several photos of the women that are an integral part of the GCG Antigua family. Check out the photos and original message below:

Over at our Paraguay offices, female staff were welcomed to a surprise Zumba class! This was presented to honor the strength and perseverance these employees show every day.

Finally, the team at GCG Quito in Ecuador put together a fun photo booth with catered desserts, and finished the day with a meal at Harina Màgica, during which they were given the chance to unwind and celebrate with their co-workers, friends, and families.
On International Women’s Day, the GCG Quito-Ecuador team honored each of their female staff members with a fun photo booth and delicious desserts! We want to remind every one of our female team members how unique and strong they are, and thank them for their daily commitment and dedication to our family.
To cap off the day, all were invited to Harina Màgica for a delectable dinner and plenty of free time to enjoy themselves and their co-workers!
Every March 8th is a wonderful time to celebrate the women in our lives—but it is just as important to honor and respect them and their contributions every day throughout the year. Thank you again to each and every one of you who are part of the GCG Group family!
